Unlike strain gauges and thermocouples, which only capture data at a discrete point, Sensuron interrogators monitor strain and temperature distributions by transforming an optical fiber into a spatially continuous sensor that performs like thousands of strain gauges or thermocouples installed adjacent to one another. This allows our customers to capture significantly more data than traditional sensors, with less instrumentation – saving them measurable time and labor costs.
